Wish List
Since we are just starting out, we still have need for a few items. We are seeking donations of:
- Preschool size chairs!!!! (12- 14″ high from floor to seat)
- Math manipulatives (base 10 blocks, number rods, cuisenaire rods, geoboards, abacus, pattern blocks/tangrams, unifix cubes, etc.)
- Outside climbers/gyms, plastic Little Tikes or wood, etc.
- Musical instruments (maracas, rhythm sticks, tambourines, Remo hand drums, and other noise making devices)
- Porcelain tea sets
- small pitchers and trays
- Any size wooden or plastic trays
- A learning tower
- Waldorf style dolls and/or doll clothes
- Wooden toys, nesting dolls and toys
- Child-size hand tools and safety glasses
- Microscope
- Montessori Materials
- Beginning reader books, early reader chapter books
- Science and Social Studies books
- Manners books
- Magic School House and/or Ms. Frizzle books
- Magnetic white boards and washable dry erase markers and erasers
- Art supplies (roll paper for an easel, construction paper, paint, brushes, rubber stamps and pads, a rubber roller or printing brayer for printmaking, pipe cleaners, colorful tissue paper, air dry clay, play doh, scotch tape rolls, masking tape, copy paper, old socks, toilet paper tubes, etc.)
- Dress-up clothes for kids
- Healthy snacks from the garden or store (low-spray or organic fruit, raisins, bagels, bread, Cheerios, etc.)

BARTER OPPORTUNITIES
I am willing to do a partial barter for the services offered at the Sibley Learning Center. We generally have a need for painters, landscapers, carpenters, bookkeeping, childcare for my two girls, and there is ALWAYS a big need for weekly classroom cleaning and organizing!! If you have a special talent or skill you are willing to share, please let me know. We don’t offer scholarships, but we are willing to work with you to try and make our learning center affordable to folks who value what we do here!
