Parents Say

The proof is in the pudding, as they say. I am proud of the unique program we have here, but don’t take it from me.

Here’s what parents say about their child’s Sibley experience (and feel free to add your own testimonial at the bottom of this page!):

“Our daughter has been attending Sibley since Sept 2008, when she was 3. Prior to that, she attended a different preschool, and had a terrible experience there. It was very traumatic for her, and she was nervous about trying a new one. But after just going for a meeting there, to find out about it, she was so excited! She felt comfortable immediately, and now runs into school, leaving us in her dust. What a change for the little girl that would cry the night before not to go to her old preschool! We are so thankful for the fun and learning our daughter has, and we can’t wait until our son is old enough to go too ūüėÄ “

“Our daughter loves coming to your house. It is such a calm and caring environment. We love the small class size.”

Hi Rebecca;

“I just wanted to write and thank you for your wonderful class. River just loves it so much, loves going to ‘school’, and talks about it all week long. He is so comfortable with you in ways he’s never been with adults other than myself, my husband, my mom and sister–the people he is closest to. I LOVE that! And I know it is all because of your kind, warm, gentle manner and the way in which you really listen to the kids and take them seriously. You have created something so special in this program, and I’m just so grateful River is now part of it! Thank you so much!

“My son has really enjoyed the Sibley Learning Center for his preschool experience. ¬†Rebecca Wolf, the teacher who runs the Sibley Learning Center out of her home, is very sweet with the kids and she is a certified reading specialist, so the kids get a lot of reading exposure. ¬†She has shelves of¬†Montessori type activities for the kids to work with and often does crafts, nature or cooking activities with them as well.¬†¬†The¬† home¬†environment¬†makes it an easy place for small children to feel comfortable. ¬†Also there is absolutely no issue if a parent wants to stay and watch, or be off in another room working or with a younger child.”
